Why a ball, not a roller?

It reaches the point. A roller spreads the pressure; a 6.3 cm ball goes into one spot. The glute, the arch of the foot, the knot between the shoulder blades.

Firm, not hard. Natural rubber core, smooth silicone skin. Dense enough to work into tension, smooth enough to roll without catching skin.

Works against anything. Floor, wall, the back of a chair. Body weight sets the pressure.

Ten minutes after practice
  1. Foot — standing, ball under the arch, slow rolls heel to toe. 1 min each foot
  2. Glute — sitting on the floor, ball under one side, lean into it. 1 min each side
  3. Upper back — standing against a wall, ball between the shoulder blade and the spine. 1 min each side
  4. Chest — against a wall, ball just below the collarbone. 45 s each side
  5. Hip — face down, ball just below the hip bone. 45 s each side
  6. Calf — sitting, ball under the calf, other leg crossed on top. 1 min each side

Breathe out into the spot. Move on when it softens, not before.

Excellent release ball! I use it during my Pilates and Yoga Teacher Training, too and quite frequently. It still looks like new!
