On Stillness, Space, and the Retreats She Creates

Svitlana is a yoga instructor and retreat host. She works with small groups of women, in carefully chosen places, with a single clear intention: to create the conditions for something real to happen. Not performance. Not content. Just presence.

We asked her a few questions.

What made you start organizing retreats? Where did that impulse come from?

"It started from a deep inner desire to share my experience and knowledge with women who truly need it — through real connection, presence, and shared energy in the moment."

How do you choose a location? What does a space need to have for you to say yes to it?

"For me, silence and the feeling of privacy are essential. I choose places intuitively — based on the energy, atmosphere, and emotional feeling a space gives me."

What does a day typically look like for the women joining you?

"The purpose of the day is to disconnect from everyday routines and reconnect with yourself. We practice prana and power yoga, spend time in warm and honest conversations, and learn how to prepare matcha properly — turning it into a mindful and meditative ritual."

What do you hope they take home — not physically, but in how they feel?

"I want them to leave feeling more energized, expanded, and connected to themselves. They also receive practical tools and practices they can continue bringing into their daily lives."

What does Lake Como mean to you for this one specifically?

"For me, Lake Como feels like a place of strength, peace, and inspiration. It has a very special energy that perfectly supports this kind of experience."

Anything you'd want people to know about this retreat — or the ones you're planning next?

"This retreat is not only about beautiful places or rest — it's about creating space for inner transformation, self-connection, and renewal. Every retreat I create carries this same intention, depth, and care."
